But the process of growing, harvesting, extracting, purifying, and distributing those ingredients is wrought with challenges. From climate events to the environmental and financial costs, industry is seeking secure, and cost-effective ways to source these important functional molecules while keeping the planet healthy.   

The Challenge

Aplantex developed a unique platform technology that accelerates and streamlines the process of securing these active ingredients. But with so many potential markets to pursue – from food ingredients to cosmetics – they needed data to help them identify the best one to target first for production.  

NPC’s Solution

Aplantex determined that a market study was needed to provide validation for a first market. NPC provided $16,000 toward a market study under their Fast Track To Financing Program. The study helped Aplantex streamline their focus and efforts, and choose a beachhead market. From there, the company has been able to secure further interest from both large multinational clients and investors.
