The Opportunity
Research increasingly shows that nutrition shapes our health. Despite this, many people still lack essential nutrients in their diets, particularly those undergoing surgery. Enhanced Medical Nutrition (EMN) actively addresses this gap by focusing on medical nutrition that improves patient outcomes after surgery.
The Challenge
Undergoing surgery can put as much strain on the body as running a marathon. EMN developed a proprietary medical food designed to support optimal healing and recovery for those undergoing surgeries such as hip and knee replacements. EMN had good scientific data, and initial interest from the medical community, but needed to hone their sales approach to ensure ultimate business success.
Sales is both an art and a science. We were incredibly fortunate to have NPC’s funds to hire a sales expert – and to find one that was so productive and professional.
NPC’s Solution
NPC provided $125,000 through its Access To Talent Program to support EMN’s hiring of its first Sales Director. Under his leadership, the company grew their customer base by 310% and increased sales and revenue, with multiple millions of dollars in the pipeline. More importantly, the new hire developed the strategy, tools and team that EMN needed to continue this sales growth into the future.
