The Opportunity
Corrosion is a big problem. In Canada and around the world, at home and at work, keeping metal rust-free and structurally sound is a multi-billion dollar opportunity. NanoTech Innovation has developed a plant-based product that is applied directly to rusty surfaces and chemically transforms the existing rust into a durable long, lasting anti-corrosion coating and a paintable surface.
The Challenge
NanoTech Innovations had some great evidence that their anti-corrosion product was a true game changer. But they needed to set up demonstration projects in a few industries to address the questions and doubts of customers and validate asset integrity using this unique natural product.
We say our product is a long term solution. But customers want to see proof. Demonstrating that our product works under real field conditions is critical to building the validation and generating demand for our product.
NPC’s Solution
Through NPC’s Proof of Concept Program, NanoTech Innovations is conducting demonstration trials, including working with a large oil and gas company at a remote site to help refurbish a piece of equipment and bring it back to an optimal state. This will be critical proof to help attract customers from the oil and gas and other industries.
